Multiple payment methods are offered by Girgit. Secure encryption technology is incorporated by our trusted payment gateway partners. Therefore, come what may your mode of payment be, your transaction details will be classified.
Transactions by Credit Cards: Your card should have the card holder’s name, number, CVV number and expiry date of the card. Additionally, you will require your 3D secure password.
Transactions by Debit Cards: Details of the card holder’s name, number, CVV and expiry date of the card. You will also need your IPIN as you will be redirected to the bank’s site for 3D secure authorization.
Transactions through Net Banking: You will require your account number and your IPIN. You will be redirected to Girgit’s website with your order details once your transaction is completed. You can keep a copy of your order details.
Your account details are not stored by our website. However, there is transaction authorization at various points. These points are PayU, Visa / Mastercard / American Express / Banks. The transactions happen directly without any details passing through Girgit. We do observe and analyse transactions periodically. Mainly to spot potentially fraudulent circumstances and thereby take necessary steps to ensure no damage occurs or to stop any possible / further damage.
Your Bank statements / Credit Card Statements will be under the heading “Girgit.co”, for all your transactions on Girgit.
At times, there are chances of the transactions failing. This may be due to different issues, such as:
O Precise details of your account, billing address and password (for net banking) have not been entered by you.
O There might be some disturbance in your internet connection during the process.
O Suppose a payment failure occurs and your account has been debited, within 7 working days your amount will be rolled back. Feel free to contact us with your query regarding this to email@example.com.
Points to remember:
O Girgit team will never request you to share any of your payment details over email or over phone.
O While the transaction is in process, make sure not to press the browser back button.
O When using the net-banking option you may be redirected to your bank’s website. Once your transaction is complete you will be redirected back to our website.
O For all accounts that are not settled by their due date:
- You are required to pay an interest at the rate of 5% per month.
- Until the settlement is made, the interest will be added to each month from the due date.
